World Environment Day Celebration at Scope Global Skills University

On 5-06-24 World Environment Day was celebrated by the Faculty of Education and Training at Scope Global Skill University. The event began with a tree plantation ceremony led by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhushan, SGSU ,Registrar Dr. Sitesh  Kumar Sinha, and faculty members. Following this, a poster and slogan competition was organized, providing students with an environment-related theme to showcase their talents and skills. The students also participated in a rally held on the university campus.

Dean of the Faculty of Education and Training, Dr. Neelam Singh, presented the program’s outline in her introductory speech and shared her views on preventing environmental pollution. Dr. Ajay Bhushan addressed the attendees, emphasizing the necessity of environmental protection and raising awareness among the public to combat the rising temperatures. Subsequently, the winners of the poster and slogan competition were announced and awarded. The first prize was awarded to Pranav Indoria, the second prize to Pakhi Divakaran, and the third prize to Laxmi Swaroop. Certificates were also given to all participants.
