Teachers’ Day Celebration at Scope Global Skills University

On 5th September 2024, Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) organized a vibrant Teachers’ Day celebration to honour the contributions of educators and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event was graced by the presence of SGSU Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhushan, Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Neelam Singh, Dean of the Faculty of Science Dr. Satyendra Khare, Dean of Commerce Mr. Nitin Mod, Heads of Departments, and esteemed faculty members.

The program commenced with the traditional Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the Goddess of Knowledge. Following this, all the teachers paid tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan by offering flowers in front of his portrait, symbolizing their respect for his legacy.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhushan took the stage and shared an inspiring message with the students, introducing a new interpretation of the word “TEACHER” that resonated with the audience:

His words highlighted the qualities that embody a true teacher and their lasting impact on students’ lives.

SGSU Registrar Dr. Sitesh Sinha extended his heartfelt wishes to both teachers and students, acknowledging the special bond between them and wishing everyone a Happy Teachers’ Day.

Dean of Education Dr. Neelam Singh delivered a heartfelt speech, emphasizing the role of teachers in shaping the future and congratulating all the educators for their invaluable contributions to the university and society at large. She also expressed gratitude to the students for their respect and appreciation toward their teachers.

The celebration continued with a series of colourful performances by students and teachers, showcasing their talents in dance, music, and drama. Students also shared personal experiences and stories, expressing their gratitude for the guidance and mentorship they had received from their teachers. The performances filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement, making the day a memorable one for everyone.

The program concluded with distribution of gifts to teachers as a token of gratitude, leaving all the teachers feeling proud and appreciated for their dedication and hard work. The celebration not only honoured the teachers but also strengthened the bond between faculty and students, reinforcing the importance of education and mentorship at Scope Global Skills University.
