A successful Blood Donation and Blood Testing Camp was organized at Scope Global Skills University, Bhopal, in collaboration with “Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (Blood Bank).” The event was conducted under the joint aegis of the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, Red Ribbon Club, and Students’ Activity Counseling.
The camp was inaugurated by the esteemed Vice-Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, Dr. Vijay Singh, along with Registrar Dr. Sitesh Sinha and Director(Skills) Dr. Ajay Bhushan, by cutting the ribbon. The dignitaries set an example by getting their blood tested and donating blood, boosting the morale of all participants. Following their lead, students, faculty, and staff members actively participated in the blood donation drive.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with approximately 110 units of blood donated and more than 300 individuals undergoing blood testing. All the Deans and Faculty members actively participated in the Blood donation Camp.
The doctors and officials from the Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (Blood Bank) expressed their gratitude to the university for successfully organizing the camp. They congratulated the university for its commendable efforts in this initiative.
The event’s success was made possible by the dedicated efforts of NSS and Students’ Activity Counseling members, including Ronit Maran, Pramod Mamle, Kaveri, Vaishali Sharma, Nidhi Bare, Raksha Bele, Sakshi Likhitkar, Chetna, Vaibhavi Soni, Dhruv, and Anjali Yadav. Their contribution played a vital role in the smooth organization of the camp.
In conclusion, the NSS Officer, Dr. Nitin Kumar Dhimole, extended heartfelt thanks to all participants and the Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (Blood Bank) team. He also requested their continued collaboration for similar events in the future and expressed his gratitude for their support.
