Skills Fusion Fest-2024

The annual fest of SCOPE Global Skills University (SGSU), “Skills Fusion Fest-2024,” kicked off with great enthusiasm on Thursday at the SCOPE Campus in Misrod. The highlight of the event was a session by renowned author and motivational speaker, Chetan Bhagat. During his interaction with the youth, he shared 11 rules for success and happiness in life. Among the distinguished attendees were Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhushan, Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha from SCOPE Skills University, and Pro Chancellor Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, Registrar Dr. Vijay Singh from Rabindranath Tagore University. Chetan Bhagat emphasized the importance of maintaining fitness, controlling emotions, prioritizing oneself, learning English, avoiding temptations, pursuing challenging goals, adapting to situations, networking, taking responsibility, and investing wisely. Speaking at the Fusion Fest, Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi encouraged students to participate actively, while Vice Chancellor Dr. Ajay Bhushan highlighted the unique fusion of skills in the competitions. Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha praised the fest for its blend of entertainment, creativity, and information.

The annual function, titled “Skills Fusion Fest,” held at SGSU (Scope Global Skills University) on April 25th and 26th, 2024, was a vibrant celebration of talent, diversity, and academic excellence. The event commenced with a colourful inauguration ceremony featuring a procession by students from each Faculty, attended by esteemed guests, faculty members, and students. The campus was adorned with banners, lights, and decorations, creating a festive atmosphere.

In the evening, the campus came alive with cultural performances reflecting the rich heritage of students from around the world. Through mesmerizing dance performances, students not only showcased their culture but also fostered bonds of friendship and understanding.

On the second day evening, street jammers delivered a vibrant performance, adding to the festivities of the event. Students thoroughly enjoyed the energetic performance, which filled the atmosphere with excitement and enthusiasm. The street jammers captivated the audience with their dynamic display of talent, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Their lively performance added an extra layer of excitement to the already vibrant atmosphere of the festival, further enhancing the overall experience for all attendees.

Over the two days, the event showcased a range of activities aimed at nurturing creativity, innovation, and collaboration among students. From traditional arts and crafts to modern technological innovations, the fest offered something for everyone. Activities included competitions in Rangoli, Stand Up Comedy, Poetry, Storytelling, Singing, Dance, Quiz, Pottery, Floristry, Carpentry, Nail Art, Makeup, Business Plan, Ad-Mad Show, Gaming, and AI Projects.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants with fond memories and a renewed commitment to excellence and innovation. It served as a testament to the spirit of creativity and collaboration that defines SGSU and its community.
