National Pharmacy Education Day Celebrated at SGSU, Bhopal

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SCOPE Global Skills University (SGSU), Bhopal, in collaboration with IIC and IQAC, successfully celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day on 6 March 2026, commemorating the *123rd Birth Anniversary of Prof. M. L. Schroff, widely regarded as the Father of Pharmacy Education in India.

As part of the celebration under Pharma Anveshan 2026, an Expert Session on the theme “Quality Education for Quality Health” was organized in online mode from 12:00 PM onwards. The session aimed to emphasize the importance of quality education in strengthening healthcare systems and promoting excellence in pharmaceutical education.

The expert session was delivered by Mr. Hrishabh Gupta,

Senior Associate, PAR Formulation Private Limited, Indore, who shared valuable insights on the significance of quality education, professional skills, and industry readiness in the pharmaceutical sector. The session was highly informative and interactive, with students actively participating through discussions and questions.

The program was organized under the guidance of Convenor

• Ms. Khushi Chouksey, Principal, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and coordinated by
• Mr. Abhijeet Raghuwanshi, Associate Professor, along with Ms. Srinkhla Kumari, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SGSU, Bhopal.

The event was conducted with the support and encouragement of the university leadership including

• Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi – Chancellor,
•  Dr. Vijay Singh – Vice Chancellor, Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha – Registrar, Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma – Dean Student Welfare (DSW), and
•  Dr. V. K. Gupta – Dean Academics, whose continuous guidance contributed to the successful organization of the program.

Faculty members and students participated enthusiastically in the online session, making the event informative and meaningful. The organizing team expressed sincere gratitude to the guest speaker and the university management for their valuable support in making the celebration a success.
