Diksharambh 2024 – A Grand Student Induction Program at Scope Global Skills University

Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) successfully inaugurated five days “Dikshrambh 2024,” the Student Induction Program (SIP), on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The event marked the beginning of a new academic journey for the incoming students, offering a comprehensive introduction to the university’s ethos, academic structure, and vibrant campus life. The day began with students registering at the reception desk, setting the stage for a well-organized induction. The inauguration ceremony followed, where dignitaries were invited to the dais, and a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony took place. This was complemented by a warm welcome address, setting a positive tone for the event.

Dr. Sitesh Sinha, the Kulsachiv, delivered an insightful keynote, providing an overview of the program and what students could expect during their time at SGSU. This was followed by Dr. Ajay Bhushan, the Kulguru, who inspired students with a motivating speech. Engaging ice-breaking activities helped students connect with each other, fostering a sense of community from the outset. Presentations by the deans of various faculties, including BCA (IT), BCA (FSA), B.Sc. (Animation & VFX), and BBA, were delivered by Dr. Veenadhari, Dr. Priti Maheshwari, and Dr. Manjusha. These sessions provided students with detailed insights into their respective courses and the opportunities that lie ahead.

Mr. Balram Yadav introduced the administrative structure of SGSU, giving students a clear understanding of the university’s organizational framework. Dr. V.K. Gupta discussed the skill-based academic structure aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP), highlighting the university’s commitment to practical, hands-on learning. Dr. Rajeev Agrawal, CMD of Ananya Packaging Private Ltd. and Chairman of Mandideep Industries Association, delivered an inspiring motivational talk, sharing his experiences and insights.

After a lunch break, Dr. Anshuj Jain presented information on the scholarship facilities available at SGSU, encouraging students to take advantage of these opportunities. The technical team showcased promotional films about SGSU, offering a glimpse into the dynamic and innovative environment of the university. Mr. Vaibhav Parashar captivated the audience with a session on the art of animation and VFX, inspiring students to explore their creative potential.

The TG system session involved student allotment to their respective TGs, filling out TG forms, and the distribution and collection of bus route forms by TGs. The day concluded with a group photograph of students with the deans and Heads of Schools (HOS), capturing the joyous and memorable moments of Dikshrambh 2024.

Dikshrambh 2024 first day was a resounding success, laying a strong foundation for the new students’ journey at Scope Global Skills University. The meticulously planned event not only introduced students to the academic and administrative aspects of the university but also fostered a sense of community and belonging.
