The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is a four-year degree program meticulously designed to nurture creativity, refine artistic skills, and foster self-expression in a supportive and innovative learning environment. The programme provides specialisation in painting, applied art and sculpture. It is a professional programme which equips students with artistic skills like drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting, graphic designing, photography, videography, art history, aesthetics and conceptual understanding of visual/fine arts.

WHAT WILL YOU STUDY
- Develops foundational and advanced skills in observation, composition, anatomy, perspective, and expressive drawing using various tools, mediums and techniques.
- Covers traditional and contemporary approaches in painting using mediums like oil, watercolor, acrylic,and mixed media exploring techniques, color theory, and personal expression.
- Introduces three-dimensional art using materials such as clay, stone, and metal, encouraging experimentation with form, space, and texture through mixed media.
- Explores manual and mechanical print techniques (Etching, Dry Point, Linocut, Screen Printing etc.) that allow the creation of multiple original artworks, fostering a deep understanding of line, pattern, and reproduction.

Graduates will acquire essential skills in drawing, composition, color theory, and medium-specific techniques required to create and execute professional-level artworks.
