The School of Humanities and Liberal arts at SGS University offers a ¾ years undergraduate degrees in disciplines such as History, Psychology, Political Science, Beauty Therapy & Wellness. The programmes, designed to cultivate essential skills including critical thinking, in-depth research, strong communication and analytical thinking. With the unique pedagogy students are provided different job oriented skills. The school conducts various field visits, trainings, industrial visits to offer the experiential learning to the students. The programmes offers community engagement to make them socially responsible. The school is committed for the holistic development of the student through its multidisciplinary approach and co-curricular activities

    A graduate of the B.A. in Social Sciences program will be able to:

    Graduates of the B.A. in Social Sciences program will specifically be able to:
  • Analyze historical and contemporary social phenomena using interdisciplinary approaches from sociology, political science, economics, and related fields.
  • Design and conduct independent research using appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative methods to investigate social issues.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge of social sciences to address societal challenges and inform public policies.
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication tailored to academic, professional, and community settings.
  • Use critical thinking and ethical reasoning to evaluate social structures, human behavior, and institutional frameworks.
  • 1. Knowledge Acquisition :- Students will gain fundamental knowledge of humanities, social sciences, and allied fields, enabling them to understand cultural, historical, social, political, and economic dimensions of society.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving :-Students will develop critical and analytical thinking abilities to examine texts, issues, and phenomena, and apply logical reasoning in academic and real-life contexts.
  • Effective Communication :- Students will acquire proficiency in written, oral, and digital communication to express ideas clearly and effectively in academic, professional, and social settings.
