Board Of Studies Meeting (Faculty of IT)

The Faculty of Information Technology successfully conducted its first Academic Board of Studies (BOS) meeting today. Esteemed experts, including Dr. Rajiv Pandey from UIT, RGPV, and Dr. Mukesh Kumar, HOD of RNTU, contributed valuable insights and suggestions. Dr. S. Veenadhari, Dean of IT, welcomed the guests and discussed the university and department’s vision and mission mapping.

Later, HOD Dr. Mukesh Kumar led discussions on the BCA, M.Sc (CS), Diploma, and certificate course curricula. The meeting covered various topics, including credit structure, question paper patterns, and marking schemes. Suggestions were received on important subjects such as cloud computing and blockchain curriculum revisions. Experts praised the implementation of NSQF and NCRF aligned curriculum  and the inclusion of skill courses in the SGSU curriculum.

This meeting proved to be an essential and highly beneficial academic activity. The recommendations received will be implemented to enhance our academic programs. The valuable presence of the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar added to the significance of the event. Overall, it was a productive and successful meeting.
